Issues of development of AIFC transport and logistics legal framework were discussed by the representatives of Globalink Logistics.
On 13 January 2020, representatives of Globalink Logistics, in particular General Manager Mr. Tanveer Ahamed and Sales Specialist Ms. Aigerim Serdalinova, visited the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) to discuss the development of AIFC Transport Hub and AIFC transport and logistics legal framework. Kazakhstan’s key location in the logistics chain between Asia to Europe calls for the use of the AIFC platform by different stakeholders in the transport and logistics sector for the performance of their business activities, which may range from financing to the exploration of business opportunities. Therefore, a meeting was held to discuss issues that are essential for the creation of a business-friendly legal environment as well as issues that may participants of the industry to fully explore their potential.
During the visit to the AIFC, Globalink representatives also familiarized themselves with the activities of the AIFC Court, the International Arbitration Centre, the Expat Centre and the Astana Financial Services Authority.
